Sunday afternoon was the best.. The snow has dropped from the boat launch road so that Reb and I could walk down to the beach without being knee deep. Not a soul around the gulls sounding the tide low very low and the smells of freshness of a spring day.
I thank God for letting me share time with my best friend and companion.
One day may be there will be more one with 2 legs...HEHEHE
I have noticed that some who have visited my Blog have not gone to the title toward the bottom of the page "older posts" it is just above the pictures of my daughters. But do not skip them..LOL

I had just completed this painting the other day. I am slowly trying to format my art work into note cards. There are many different styles of art I enjoy creating what ever may come to mind I am up for it...
Mid March was beautiful the sun was warm and you could smell Spring in the air..
I have all ready been making my list of what to start planting in the house so that all my little starters will be strong and ready for the great outdoors !!!!!
But as you can see April 9th we were dumped on good....... I woke to 6 inches of snow.

The smiles say it all---- We had a wonderful time. The joy it brought to our faces watching the girls search for all the colored eggs was special. The excitement when another egg was found made me feel the pure innocents and acceptances of the joys of life that children have.
We had all the family traditions for a celebratory Easter dinner and we all share bites with the dogs who made there rounds.
Aria and Cadence are quite familiar with rabbits since I have many free range ones running around (pets, that are so wonderful to watch with their routines) Just so happened I had 2 being raised in the house until they get larger and can go back out with the rest of the family.
I am saddened that my oldest granddaughter is in New Mexico and could not be with her cousins but my oldest daughter Trinity called and e mailed photos of Keely's Easter as we were are together here.
No I did not get the bunnies for Easter like some families do just so their kids can play with them a few days and loose interest!!!!
These two are being saved for a while from the Eagles, Links, Wolves and all the hungry praetor's looking for a snack....Then be realised back with the rest.
Have enjoyed watching all my Rabbits for years now started out with a few, and we all know how that goes...... hehehe When they mature they take up new locations on the property, their own family units but it comes to feeding time they unite in front of the deck. It is great watching their personalities and behaviors over the years.
Do not let this picture fool you----Reb loves to chase them all over, he tries to herd them with no avail all fun and games but in the house he keeps a watchful eye. "The Nanny"
My granddaughters love to go wheeling night, day, rain or snow. The smiles tell it all. It is always go faster go faster.....I love it but my daughter Natalie has more to say about that!
In the past few weeks I have spent my quite time painting a collection of flowers from photographs I have taken. When time allows I will be making reprints and note cards. At this time I have completed 6 paintings here is just a example.
Threw out the many changes I have recently been experiencing I now once again can find some peace within to wake and see out my window Mt.Redoubt for she is in front of me once again no bearers just the Inlet and her.
And when the evening approches she eases my thoughts of a day that may have had confusion or woes for she comforts me and all is right.
I am proud to support our troops and I am honnered to of had my family protect my freedom.
